Why shipping costs?

Our shipping costs are made up of several individual items:

1.) Assembling the crate
2.) Assembling the cardboard packaging
3.) Careful packing
4.) Preparing and handing over for shipping

For smaller crates, the shipping process takes 27 minutes on average. For us, that means approx. 13.00 EUR in wages and related labor costs (we pay our employees well above minimum wage so they can provide well for their families), plus 9.00 EUR in material costs and 8.50 EUR in shipping fees.

For crates in sizes M and L, additional shipping costs apply because they count as bulky goods. You pay 29.99 EUR per parcel, but shipping actually costs us 55 EUR per DOXAFER®. Why? Quite simply: we deliver your DOXAFER® fully assembled! You don't have to assemble anything – just attach the Isofix mount and you're ready to go.

So for sizes XXS, XS and S, shipping costs are well above 30 EUR. From size M, they are even above 50 EUR, but we cover more than half so that you receive a DOXAFER® that is ready to use right away!
